installation error

I am trying to download and install Code Composer Studio, as well as download the various other support documents and software to be used with the MSP430 LaunchPad

I have tried downloading from both google chrome and internet explorer (the attached errors are from while I was trying to download and install from explorer)

I have also tried disabling my computer security while downloading and having the MSP430 board attached

nothing has worked, any ideas?

BHi Samantha,

have you checked your proxy settings? The error you recieve/attachment did not seem to work properly. Could you please try again?

which download link/version are you trying?

Hi,

I also have problems to install CCS 5.4 on Windows 7 / 64bit.

I have tried it with administrator rigths, McAfee off, local administrator, with offline installation and web installation, but it doesn_t work.

Error with the following message:

" Installer failed to install com.ti.ccstudio.msp430 correctly. The 2 most common reasons for failure are:

* Anti-virus on your computer could have impeded the executable.

* Download is corrupted.

Who could help?

Hi Martin,

a couple requests

1 - please post new problems to a new thread

2 - please send you installation logs. These are in the installjammer registry directory. the folder may be hidden and is under program files or program files(x86)

Hi Martin,

Please try removing your attempt and trying again keeping everything local. I see a C and D drive involved in the installation and suspect this might be the issue.

Hi Martin,

I am confused now. You say v5.3 works? Have you tried a fresh full v5.4 installation to a different directory? Does that also now work? If you would like v5.4 and have issues, we would need those logs.
