CCS 5.4 install failed on Win7/64bit

Hi Martin,

would you be able to try fully unzipping and installing to all locally?  I see a c and a d drive involved in your isntallation and this is likely the issue.

It is not a good idea to install over a previous attempt.  Please keep us informed how that goes.

I have the same problem like Martin, can you explain a little bit more how it's possible to install CCS?

And maybe you can inform people from tools to fix this failure.

On other computer with Wind 7 I installed a old version of CCS without any problems.

Hi Mihail,

first, may I comment that it is always much better practice not to add to an old/existing thread with a new problem.

Could you send your install logs?  (the folder, which may be a hidden folder is under program files or program files(x86) is the installjammer registry directory folder)

You should be sure to use the full offline installer and unzip and install all locally on one non shared drive with antivirus off.

Just a status update. The CCS 5.4 offline installer doesn't work on my computer (i use my local drive D: just as source for unzipping). But the same procedure works with CCS 5.3!!!!!!

But no idea why 5.4 doesn't work -> i thing TI will solve this!.

Is there any convenient way to install CCS??

I tried hundred times (always failed) to install each of CCS 5.4 to 5.5 (both web and offline installer)

Can you please help? I always removed the failed installation folder and turn of my mcAfee

I use windows 7 64-bit

Your anti-virus software is blocking access to files after they have been extracted. Please be sure the McAfee real time file protection features have completely been turned off.
