Cannot download code composer

Please explain.

A few days ago I filled in my details, and waited to receive an authorization to download the Code Composer.

The authorization arrived as a link.

The help in this link explains that a popup window to save the file should appear.

What you can do is... download a 'download manager' such as IDM or Orbit and just paste the download link it it. The download will start immediately.

I have tried IDM.

The problem is that the link leads to a log in screen.

The download should start only in the next screen.

(If I paste the link to IDM - it download the HTM screen)

The download is completed, with the htm file, which is the download screen.

I received an approval email, with a link. This is the link in chapter 1.1 in the attached file.

I have tried with IE, Chrome and Opera.

I have tried in several PCs.

Hi Gal,

hmmm ... that is odd.  As I next step I would double check your proxy and antivirus settings.  If you recieved the email that link should have prompted a download for you so I wonder if there is something blocking it.

It is not the first file that I load files. 

I have stopped the WebGuard in my Avira antivirus.

I have disabled the pop-up windows blocking.

Didn't help.

How do I check the proxy?

BTW, the link was valid for 72 hour, and that time is over.

if the link is no longer valid I would double check the proxy settings (unfortunately I am no http expert) and try again to generate a valid link.

I am at exactly the same point as the above were.... except for no magic 'new link.' How do I get this?

first a comment, please don't open old threads as it is very easy for things to slip between the cracks.

What borwsers/links have you tried?   The large button on the download page in not the offline installer I suspect you want.  What error do you see?

Once again: overtaken by events.
Downloading CCS v5.5 for the first time on Chrome seems to have worked.
I say 'seems' because the installer had been working for over an hour when I left work yesterday and today I don't see anything but documentation installed.
There are new icons for 'Blackhawk' and 'SDConfig,' but no CCS.

Is there a last step I missed?

a couple things

1 - could you please send the installation logs.  These would be in the installjammer registry directory which may be hidden and is under program files or program files (x86)  These would tell the story.

2 - my experience is it is not always a good idea to leave the installation like that.  simply because there are typically many windows messages that pop up regarding permissions/uac etc and I wonder if they timeout/cause issues if not responded to

I found the executable for CCS and ran it (after making a shortcut.)

Now I can at least debug/modify/download the Launchpad code.
