Installation Problems With CCS

Hello

I have read through the forums to troubleshoot installation of CCS V5 (i.e. disable antivirus, download updates from cable internet instead of wireless). But I always get errors of installation failed. This is what I have done

- Install from web installer V5.4, failed while in progress

- Download offline installers V5.4. errors occured when I unzip it

- Same thing happened for V5.3

- Successfully install from V5.2 offline installer. But when I update it, installation errors occured again and I cannot use CCS anymore

- In between each reinstall, I would clear the registries, delete folders and restart computer

I have attached my installjam registry folder for your reference. Anyone has any feasible suggestions to get at least CCS V5.3 working for me because it has the library that I need for my evaluation module? Thank you in advance!

Hi Jason,

Unfortunately, some of the logs have been overwritten so it's a little hard to say why the 5.4 install was failing originally. Could you try the offline install for 5.4 again?

Either remove everything in c:\ti\ccsv5 or try it in a new folder so that it's considered a fresh install and it doesn't try to repair the older installation.

If you do hit a failure, please post the install logs generated from that run. Hopefully, all will run smoothly.

Hello Danish!

I have problems with the extraction of offline install V5.4. The files are always corrupted although I have downloaded it from 2 different internet sources. Therefore, the only approach is to perform the online installation because I have no problems with that. I have uploaded the installation files for it on a different folder. Thanks for helping

Jason,

It looks like you have some kind of anti-virus/firewall that is preventing files from being downloaded and leaving them in a corrupt state. This is happening in the web installation as well. Is there any way that you can download the offline installer on a machine that does not have the anti-virus or firewall on?

Hello Danish!

I have tried downloading on different computers and networks. Also, I have already disabled all antivirus and firewall. Where else can I download the offline installer or do you have other suggestions?
