how to see the c5515 register value in simulation mode on ccs5 ?

Dear friends,

Greetings. I want to see the data in c5515 spi registers while running on simulation in CCS5 .. where can i see the value to evaluate the program.. plz help in this issue..

Hi Sudarshan,

The above registers can be observed in the watch window by adding Global SPI variables during debugging.

Dear Gautam ,

Thank you for your reply . can you tell me where watch window ll be located.. i can see only register ,variable,memory window..and in register window only cpu register and peripheral registers i can see.. but i cant see spi registers like spidata1 ,spidata2, spicmd1.. plz help me in this issue

Hi Sudarshan,

I've attached the screenshot of the watch window. This window will pop out when you debug. So by right clicking on the empty space or by clicking on the down arrow you can add custom as well as global variables.
