Unable to run , to step over and into, etc... while debugging with CCS

Hello,

When I try to debug acitve project, ccs seems to load the executable file into the MSP430 target,but  CCS does not allow me to run, halt, setp over etc...The command are greyed and I cannot even make the microcontroller start.
