    4. Click the Step 1 link in the right pane of the TI Resource Explorer to Import the example project into CCS. This adds a new project to your Project Explorer view. step1:import the example project into ccs Here i selected connection type data snap shot viewer and  plat form selected "ti.platform.evmam3359"

The first highlight is one problem. You should select the emulator that is bundled with BeagleBone (Texas Instruments XDS100v2 USB Emulator) - if you only see the Data Snapshot viewer, check this thread for additional details.

The second highlight may be another problem - why not select the ti.platforms.beaglebone instead?

    9. Use the Step 4 link to launch a debug session for the project and switch to the CCS Debug Perspective. step4: debug the imported project

That may be causing another problem: make sure you de-select the core M3_wakeupSS from the list of CPUs to load the program only to the Cortex A8.

At last, make sure you do not have Linux or another OS running on the board, as usually this is a common cause for failure.

    Hope this helps,

P.S. The issue you described has nothing to do with licensing, as the error is related to a problem on the configuration of the connection.
