CCS License Issue on MPS430 LaunchPad

I have the MPS430 LaunchPad and am having a license problem. I could not find the board ID number (not MAC ID) to enter for the license grant. Where do I find this information to be granted a license? Somehow it thinks it loaded in a temporary license, but it hadn't. How do I wipe away everything, including the license file information, so I can start from scratch? I plan on using LaunchPad for student programming and hardware control.

Hi Lynn,

you should not need a board ID number. Are you looking for an activation ID? What type of license where you planning to use? With the msp you can purchase a license, use the trial license for 90 days, or use ccs for free if your code will be very small (less than 16kB).
