AM335x (Cortex A8) simulator on CCS5.4

Hi Vasili,

the list is essentially the same for ccsv5.4 so it seems unfortunately there is no simulator offered fro the Cortex A8 devices.

This wiki is the main area for getting started with simulation.  Essentially the simulators work the same way the emulators do in ccs with of course certain limitations.  (ie simulators don't typically have the full feature set of a true hardware debug).

1. Yes; unfortunately the page is outdated but several simulators are bundled with CCSv5

2. The CCSv5 Getting Started Guide is a good example of simulator usage. However, if you want to know more about the Simulator and its features, simply check the Simulation category on the wiki.

3. Unfortunately no. We do not have Cortex A simulators bundled with CCSv5.
