CCS5.3 fails to start after updating C6000 compiler 7.4.4

Hello everybody,

I used the update feature of CCS 5.3 to update my C6000 compiler to version 7.4.4.

Now, after closing and restarting, CCS fails to start with following error.

Could anybody help, pls?

  • Hi Alex,

    could you please send the logs from the installjammer registry directory?   That folder might be hidden and is under program files or program files(x86)

    Can you rename the downloads folder to something else and try opening CCS, please?

    I deleted some the lastest download files from folder "downloads" and now CCS starts without any trouble.

    Alex, if you can, please post the install logs from c:\program files\installjammer registry\ccsv5. It helps us figure out what went wrong with the update.
