ccs5 update error

Dear Ti,

I tried to get the update done but i got an error message telling me that some files didn't install correctly, and then the update terminated itself. It told me to show someone form the ti support to look at the 'InstallJammerRegistry' zip file. I've attached the zip file to see if you can help me with this because it seems that other people have also experienced this problem.

would you be willing to do a full fresh installation to a new directory?

Hi Lisa,

Thanks for responding. I tried the update once, then I did a fresh installation to a new directory, after tried the update again and got another error. But I would be willing to do another fresh installation if need be. Was that zip file I sent helpful at all?

Hi Lisa,

Thank you for responding to my posts. I suspect that the other versions of code composer that were on my computer were messing up the updates I was trying to get. So I downloaded ccs version 5.4 online on a fresh computer that was laying around and it worked perfectly. I am going to continue my project on this fresh computer and forget about the problems I previously had.
