Hi
I’m using computer with WIN-7, 64 bits and I need to install on it CCS version 3.1.
I tried to install it over windows XP mode virtual PC and receive Error 1335 during installation.
The error description is: "The cabinet file 'xdas28_example_sim28xx.cab required for this installation us corrupted.
I tested this cab and it is not corrupted (I managed to open it ).
Is there a way to overcome this problem (ignore cause additional error – error 2350 and stop the installation)
Thanks
Rubi Kalev
Hi Rubi,
is there a specific reason you need that old unsupported version? Unfortunately there is no official win7 or 64 bit support. Many people have used this environment with the usual tricks of compatibility mode etc.
I would do a search and also check this wiki.

thank you Lisa
yes, I need this specific version in order to support legacy projects without preforming major changes due to change of the IDE version .
Hi Rubi,
Have you tried v3.3 at least? Perhaps you will find this might install without issue.
I am not sure what to say. As mentioned this environment is not officially supported. What exact error do you get?

Lisa
