cannot run cl470

Hello TI,

I worked for a project using OMAPL138, and take CCS3.3 as the develop tool. When i chose TMS470 Code Generation tool V5.0.1 for compilation , an error"Build error: cannot run cl470" occured. Is that mean i can not choose the V5 version in CCS3.3? if i want to use -gcc option, is there another way to update the compilation?

From version 5.0.0B1 forward, the compiler has been renamed "armcl", so you need to use that instead of "cl470." When you selected version 5.0.1 CCS should have automatically changed to use "armcl." Do you have any custom changes to your build process which refer directly to cl470? If not, this is a CCS IDE question and needs to be moved to the CCS forum.

Where did you get this package? How did you drop it into CCSv3.3? Did you download and install a "CCSv3 Friendly CGT install" and select it in the component manager?
