C55x Linux Simulation on Code Compser Studio 5.x

I strongly recommend adding C55x Simulation on Linux at some point! I have a test situation that I can run on the Windows Simulator for Code Composer Studio 5.4. Because of the needed extra memory, I was able to accomodate. The eZdsp/EVM's do not have external RAM that can be used for the test code, but with a simulator, I can add the amount needed.

    Hi Todd,

    Thanks for the feedback. But understand that simulator support is being deprecated in favor of low cost kits (with the exception of multi-core C6000 and a few other devices). The tools group does not have much say in this as the requests to us must come from the business units. If you want more simulator support, please let your wishes be known to the business units (in this case the C55x group).
