GUI Composer Freeze

Hi,

 

I installed CCS5.4.0.00091_win32 and GUI_Composer-1.8.0.1-Setup on a PC with Win7 64-bit.

I open the GUI Composer by pressing CCS->View->GUI Composer and a Blank Page appears.

After waiting around 10min the GUI Composer comes out but I cannot press the key inside the GUI Composer.

Can anyone give me a hand?

    Further information:

    I export a project from another PC and put it into

    C:\ti\guicomposer\webapps

    I open the deployed project by double clicking launcher.exe, the GUI Composer can run but with a extremely slow speed. I have to wait around 5mins to obtain the following state (the screen cap)

     

    P.S. I have reinstalled the CCS and GUI Composer. The problem still exists.

    Hi Barry,

    What is your PC configuration? If you have proxy or firewall setting, can you see if disabling these settings can get you any further? 

    If you have a different PC, does GUI Composer work on this PC?

    Also, can you attach CCS workspace .log file here?

    Thanks for your prompt reply. Let me explain more.

     

    I got two PC. One is at office and another one at home. Both of them are Win7 64bit.

    The one at the office works fine while the one at home gets the problem.

     

    May I ask what kind of PC configuration I should provide for your reference?

    I didn’t use proxy but I have a router at my home but that PC is set for DMZ.

    I have just tried tuned off the windows’s firewall, the problem still exists.

    Hi Barry,

    Are both PC that you have are similar spec? i.e RAM, CPU, and OS, Language settings (chinese vs english), etc...

    If you can see GUI composer designer (CCS) showing up 1 out of 10 times, it could be an indication that your PC is slow and not able to handle the webpage requests.

    In the runtime screen capture that you have, the error means that you have an incorrect device setup or GUI Composer not able to communicate with your target device. Check the connection to make sure your host PC can communicate with your target device.

    I have install.

    1.MotorWare1.01.00.10

    2.instaspinfocmotorwaregui_v101

    3.CCS5.5.0.00077_win32

    My PC is i3, RAM 8Gb, Win7Pro_x64, USB3.

    I use BOOSTXL-DRV8301 + Piccolo LAUNCHXL-F28027F

    please help  me.  :)
