Hello,

I cannot install the controlSUITE on Linux, so I just copied all the files under /opt/ti, and put the path in "include". However, every time I try to build the examples, there are errors which shows no reason and cannot be found in the ".c" file itself.

Hello,

Thank you for your help.

I see what you mean, but I cannot fix it and still need your help.

The problem, for example, is saying "could not open source file 'DSP2833x_McBSP.h' #include 'DSP2833x_McBSP.h' "

but I do have the .h file called DSP2833x_Mcbsp.h which I checked and should be the same thing.

This happens on almost all the .h file the project refers to.

Hi,

Just adding to Lisa's reply, please verify if all the characters in the filename have the same case as specified in the header file. Differently than DOS/Windows, Linux treats the case differently in filenames.

For example, the #include <DSP2833x_McBSP.h> above will fail to find the file if it is named <DSP2833x_Mcbsp.h> in the filesystem.

Not automatically, as this is intrinsic to the underlying operating system.

Since controlSUITE was not designed to run in Linux, you would need to manually change either the file names or the references to the header files inside the C source files.
