problem to install Uniflash Standalone Flash Tool

Hi Marcio,

is this as part of a general ccs installation do you mean?  Would you be able to send us the installation logs?  These are found in the installjammer registry directory which may be hidden and is under program files or program files(x86).

I was trying to install the "Uniflash Standalone Flash Tool" for CCS V3. So this error appears...

I tried to download and install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 but it still didn't work

the installjammer registry directory will contain these logs.  It may be hidden so please be sure to check for that. It is under program files or program files(x86).

Could you install the redistributable package separately from the C:/Documents and Settings/marcio/Desktop/UNIFLASH2.2.0.00016_win32/baserepo/ folder first. Then do a clean install. You may want to move the repo C:/Documents and Settings/marcio/Desktop/UNIFLASH2.2.0.00016_win32 to a folder without spaces too, though I don’t think that will be a problem, it’s safer.

I succeed to install the program...

but I've another problem...

after configuring I have been trying to load the program and I got this errors:

It's look like the error I usualy have using the CCS V3 and "Tools/F28xx On-Chip Flash Programmer".

But there I got the first error... so I do a "Cancel option"...

and do a .gel comand "GEL/Reset"...

at this point the disassembly window points to "3FF8A1 28AD004 MOV @SP,#0x0004" so I succeed to program.

Could you tell me if I'm doing something wrong?

HI Marcio,

it seems you may have an odd initialization problem.    Unfortunately you can't call a gel command from uniflash.

Could you try the following:  try the same procedure that worked in v3 but using ccs v5.4 instead of uniflash.  Please keep us informed how that goes.

unfortunatly I wouldn't... I'm in another project development that is stoped for a time and I'm afraid to install the CCS V5... because I think it can bring me some problem when I back to the project.

I was just trying a faster way to program the a DSP...
Do you have some TI programmer for DSP?
