Error updating CCS to CCS5.4

Hi,

I tried to update CCS from 5.3 to 5.4 but it failed. I did it from the built-in update procedure.

After the fail the procedure did an automatic downgrade to the 5.3, then a messagebox asked me to post here the log file.

    would you be willing to do a full fresh installation of v5.4?  I would do this to a new simple directory and ensure antivirus is disabled.

    I would remove the older version, however it is not necessary as long as you install v5.4 into a different directory and not over top of the old installation.

    I followed the way you suggested: removing of 5.3 and install of 5.4. Now it works well, thank you very much.

     I would underline a big problem I had during the 5.3 uninstalling.

     First I received an error during the uninstall process (unfortunately I don't remember it), then the uninstall process exit without completing the process. I tried to start again, but in the WIN7 control panel->remove program there was no CCS5.3 uninstall entry. So I proceeded in manual way, by searching all the "uninstal*.exe" application into the C:\ti\..... folders, then manually deleting everything the c:\ti folder and everything inside it and inside the C:\users\myuser\... folders. After this "self-made" procedure I successfully installed CCS5.4!

    glad to hear that you have a good clean installation now.  Sorry for the inconvenience.   Thanks for the feedback as well .. unfortunately we are aware ccs does not often uninstall cleanly.  We are working to improve that aspect of ccs.
