Download CCS5.4.0, and received 90day license file, CCS not recognizes license

Received my MSP430 G2553 Launchpad. yesterday.

I think I need Code-Limited free license but didn't know where or how to install this option.

So I requested 90days license.

It took me one day just tried to resolve license issue but still failed.

My MSP430 G2553 Launchpad is in temperature demo (Red Green Led blinking one after the other, my PC: Intel core - I5, OS: Window 8).

I put the license file in C:\ti\ccsv5\eclipse and try to build.

I started CCSV5 and click "Debug" for Blink.c

The CCSV5 doesn't recognize the license file and forces me to go thru license request again.

Hi,

Here is how you can activate an appropriate license.

Go to Help -> CCS Licensing Information -> Check the current status -> Upgrade - > Launch License Setup

Hi James,

I would follow Gautams advice to get the code size limited msp430 license. Note as well, ccs should autmatically generate and handle the license file so I am not sure why you seem to be moving a license file around?
