In testing my board, I had run the CCS “Check for Updates” and installed an updated to the “Hercules Emulator” (that I don’t think I’m even using). Before applying the update, after Code Composer asked to restart, I received this error:
Problems occurred while trying to save the state of the workbench.
Could not write workspace metadata 'C:/WORK/CCS/Default/.metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.core.resources/.root/34.tree'.
java.lang.NullPointerException
I’m not keeping any of the workspace files (anything under “C:/WORK/CCS”) in Perforce, they should all be writable, however Code Composer created them originally.
Any ideas if this is a serious issue?
