CCS 5.5 IPC software missing ?

Hi everyone,

We've downloaded the new CCS 5.5, on the software manifest it says it comes with IPC 1.25.

When we did a full installation, IPC wasn't in the ccsv5 folder. Only XDCtools, SYSBIOS, UIA and so on but no IPC.

Anyone else have the same issue ?

IPC is no longer bundled with CCS (since v5.4). Please refer to here to download the version of interest.

Well, you may want to correct what is written here :

which is misleading/erroneous.

It's now late November and I've just had the same problem: installed CCS5.5, tried to run one of the example programs as a sanity check, got the 'IPC missing' error message, googled it and arrived here.

As we paid a lot of money for CCS, surely it ought to just work 'out of the box'? With professional tools, I don't expect to have to use detective work to track down missing components.
