CCS 5.3.0 hangs

Hi.

I use CCS 5.3.0 in Xubuntu

Sometimes CCS hangs for a while when I edit text.

My PC: 2 core cpu, 2 GB RAM

Why it happens?

Hi Michael,

a few comments

- would you be willing to try the latest version, v5.5. I would recommend this for bug fixes, etc. I would do this as a full fresh installation.

- would you please send any error logs (hs_err*.log) or dump files (.dmp)

- would you please describe exactly what you are experiencing? How long is the hang, is it with every project, etc.

Hi. Thanks for help!

I use it for code Linux source and u-boot for my board. It hang 1-2 minutes.

I install CCS v5.5 and it work fine today.
