Permission Denied for CCS v4

Hi,

this seems like a permissions issue.  Do you have full admin privileges and do you run ccs as an administrator?    What about creating a project in a different directory, eg try c:/myprojects ...

Hi Lisa,

     Am working on full admin privileges only.  i tried different directory.... if i open the existing project am not facing the problem , but if i create a new one i got a mentioned error ...  in my system i have ccsv3 as well as ccs v 4 ... it is any problem installing different version in same system....

Installation path:

ccs v 3.3 - C:\CCStudio_v3.3

ccsv 4 - C:\Program Files\Texas Instruments\ccsv4

Hi Thiyagarajan,

hmm this is odd.  somthing is blocking your access.  It could still be user access control, perhaps antivirus or else the odd permissions/special case of the windows program files directory.  Due to odd behaviour we have been recommending using c:/ti instead.   However this would involve you installing ccs again.  Would that be an option?

        Okay , am ready to uninstall and reinstall . kindly tell me at which path i want to install. am going to install the both version ccsv3.3 and ccsv4.... kindly tell me the path for both the version...

Example :

C:\ti\CCStudio_v3.3

C:\ti\Texas Instruments\ccsv4
