Installation Problem - CCS v5.4 and CCS v5.5

Team,

Installation of CCS v5.4/5 is failing on my Win-XP machine with errors in startup script - The error message reads "Can't create directory <PATH>: no such file or directory..." (Screenshot attached). I tried creating the folder with adequate permissions and all but that didn't help - Can you please share some pointers for resolving this problem?

Hi Praneet,

would you please send the installation logs? These would be in the installjammer registry directory. It may be hidden and is under program files or program files (x86).

One thing to note is that the installer does not like installing over previous versions/attempts. Also note if you attempted many times without removing the installation including these logs it can confuse the installer.

Thanks Lisa - I uninstalled previous versions of CCS and cleared the registry but the problem still persists. Please find attached the installation-logs.

Hi Praneet,

it seems the issue is likely the temp directory. It seems invalid. If you look at your error message you will see the temp directory ends with ;C: which is odd and obviously you would not expect this in any directory.

Could you please fix the temp dir and try again?

I seem to have the same problem, and when I find the Temp folder the name is correct. Where should I go to fix the problem?
