Failure in configurating EVE simulator in CCS5

Hello,

I want to try running an EVE simulator using CCS v5.5, but I cannot find "EVE" in the device's family tab,

when I open the New CCS Project menu.

Does anyone know why and how I can solve this problem ?

I have already installed AV BIOS SDK and the EVE simulator v0.7.11.0.

Hi,

I guess you need to do some seetings to get the EVE in the device family. Please follow the following steps:

1. Go to CCS Menu-->Window-->Peferences ( click on Peferences, it will open a dialouge box )

2. On the Left expan the Code Composure Studio --> Build --> Compilers

3. on the Right Set the ARP32 toolchain path ( click on "Add.. " and select the ARP32 tool chain by providing the ARP32 toolchain path , eg, "<>\av_bios_sdk_01_07_00_00\cgtools\arp32_1_0_1" )

4. Please go through the README.txt in the <>\av_bios_sdk_01_07_00_00\cgtools\arp32_1_0_1 folder

Please follow the section " ) Installation Requirements"

Hello Saravanakumar,

You can get down to AV BIOS SDK if you enter "av bios sdk" in the search window of your cdds.

for EVE simulator v0.7.11.0, I followed the "EVE Getting Started" manual that I have attached.
