Burning Flash CCS5

I went through the wiki as mentioned before and loaded the output file through the Load program button while debugging. 

I did the On Chip Flash, but I don't see how to program it, and on the Wiki this is what it says:

The flash programmer plug-in settings will automatically be configured for your device. To view or change the settings in CCS v5.1:

1. First ensure that your target configuration is set up properly for your device.
2. Launch the debugger.
3. Make sure you are in the CCS Debug perspective.
   • If needed refer to Perspectives
4. Select "Tools->On-chip Flash"
5. Configure the On-Chip Flash Programmer as required
   • You can also erase the flash from the On-Chip Flash Programmer view.
   • For help with the flash plug-in, click on the On-Chop Flash Programmer View and press the F1 key
6. Select "Remember My Settings" if you would like this configuration to remain for future debug sessions.

Note: If your program only uses a few sectors, you can save time by erasing only the sectors you are using. In the Flash plug-in configuration, uncheck the sectors not being used. Now they will not be erased as part of the load process.

 All I see is a button to Erase the Flash, another button to program a password, but no button to program the flash. 

it actually doesn't say how to program it, I load the output file, but after power down the program is gone.

all that On-Chip flash does is to configure how to program the flash while in debug mode. What I want to do is to burn the code on the chip, and be able to reboot my board as many times as I want and still have my code stored in my chip. On other development suited there is a "Program Flash" button, or it generates a .hex file that you upload onto a bootloader program. I haven't seen either in CCS5.

Hi Marco!

I suspect your firmware exists into flash after "Load Program" procedure. But your firmware can't run at standalone mode (only at debug mode). Firstly: check please that file CodeStartBranch.asm is presented in your project.

I have the file F2806x_CodestartBranch.asm showing up on the Project explorer. 

How can I make my code able to run in stand alone mode?
