Handling IQ numbers in GUI Composer widgets

Hi, is there any built-in support for IQ numbers in widgets? AFAIK, the IQ fraction size is available in .out file, so it should be possible to automatically extract this information.

Also, when trying to display the numbers directly in a widget, I have to set the maximum value quite high. However, this makes the labels and markers on the graph very dense, so white bars are shown instead. Is it possible to specify the density or number of markers and labels?

For Q-value, you can enter the binding with the following format Q(myVal, 15) in the designer binding tab.

The graphs have the option to not auto scale and focus on a specific range. To disable auto scaling, goto the Widget properties tab in the designer, and turn Auto Scale off (3rd option in the list). Then you will need to specify the X-Y Minimum and Maximum values.

There is currently no option to set the number of ticks per axis for the graph. This is an enhancement we should consider for future GUI Composer release.

Thanks! I was not clear enough in the second question; I meant for e.g. AnalogMeter. A large range makes the numbers unreadable.

You can use pre and post function to scale the target value and have a smaller range in the meter.
