CCS v5.5 Update Errors

There are installer logs in c:\program files\installjammer registry\ccsv5 (program files (x86) if you're using a 64 bit machine), that we need as well. Please note, the installjammer registry folder is a hidden folder.

I'm not sure what's going on with your installation, the logs show you've installed several times, and they've become a little hard to read. Can you describe what you were doing? 

If you decide to reinstall from scratch, you can delete everything in the ccsv5 folder and the program files\installjammer\ccsv5 folder so we have clean logs, in case of a problem.

I tried to install ccsv5.5 and had many problems. I will try to reinstall from scratch by following your directions. Will keep you posted.

Make sure you've unzipped the offline package before you install, if that's the route you're taking.

I have the ccs_setup_5.5.0.00077.exe file thumb drive. Is that okay?

That means you're using the web installer. Make sure you have internet access, and copy the exe to a local directory like %TEMP%.

I have a similar problem. 3782.60556FE5-C1A1-4061-8DF8-FFB8393BAE2D.zip. Does this mean the compiler is unusable?

Actually, it's a different problem but I can help you fix it. Please:

Download  http://software-dl.ti.com/ccs/esd/test/ti_cgt_c2000_6.2.8_windows_installer.exe

Run with the command line 

ti_cgt_c2000_6.2.8_windows_installer.exe  --mode unattended --ccs true  --prefix "C:/ti5_5/ccsv5" --eclipseprefix  "C:/ti5_5/ccsv5/eclipse" 

Edit the file ccsv5\eclipse\ccs_config.xml (if it's renamed ccs_config.xml.bk, remove the .bk extension). Set the "feature registered" to "feature installed".
