I just received a project from a coworker and for some reason I cannot open it. this is the error CCS is giving me

See details below.
Error: Import failed for project 'TSv2_delfino' because its meta-data cannot be interpreted. Please contact support.

I have CCS 5.5 and my coworker has C5.4.

Note: After I got such error, even all projects, that used to open without errors, have the same error, but they still fully load.

Thank you for attaching the project files. I can reproduce the error and we are looking into it. We will post an update as soon as we have one.

The .cproject file is slightly corrupted - it is missing one "parallelizationnumber" attribute. I'm attaching a fixed version of the same file (renamed in order to bypass the filter). Just replace the file in your project, and re-import the project into CCS v5.5. You might need to restart CCS first (if you've already tried and failed to import that project) - as Eclipse caches failed attempts to import a project, and ignores attempts to re-import it within the same session.

This problem has been fixed in newer versions of Eclipse. The fix would be picked up in CCS v6.0.

What corrupted the file? I removed that file and copied from my co-worker, and did not work.

It looks like it works for version 5.4 but not for 5.5.

I will try your fix.

Hi Baltasar,

I am encountering the same problem when importing an old project in CCS 5.5. It was created in some 5.x version (not sure witch one). I tried to apply the same fix as you did to the corrupted file above without any luck. Could you please have a look at my project files and do a similar workaround?

I am enclosing the files in case you could find the time to have a look at them.
