C6678 cpu speed according to emulation

Hi,

I am very new in software development for c6678. I use a TMDSEVM6678LE evaluation board with a xds560 emulator. In this board, for c6678, SYSCLOCK1 is 1Ghz and SYSCLOCK2 is 333Mhz.

To benckmark the c6678, I have translated a software used in an other MCU but for the moment, I have not success tu run this program alone without the emulator..

My question is: with emulator running, is the c6678 speed 1Ghz (SYSCLOCK1) or 333Mhz (SYSCLOCK2) ?

Hi,

The emulator does not influence the processor clock and PLL configurations.

You may want to take a look at how the device is being initialized - usually when using an emulator, the hardware initialization is performed via a GEL script and it is possible this is what is changing between having the emulator connected and trying to boot the board.
