Code composer not installing on windows8.1

Ive been trying to install ccs on my windows8.1 computer but its not working tried a different user account,different install location but its still not working here is the log

Hi Javon,

It looks like one of the components is unable to install because your path is too long. Can you install in a path that's around 20 characters or less? This is being fixed in later versions of CCS.

i just tried to install into c:\TI and it failed as well :( heres the log file

Are you running as administrator? Trying running in compatibility mode. This seems to have fixed the problem for other windows 8 users.

Ahh i finally got it installed looks like it was both the Path length and the compatibility , it had to be run as windows 7 . I had tried both independently but not in conjunction thanks soo much danish :)
