CCSV5.5 high CPU load

Hi,

I am using CCSV5.5.0 to do some Tiva ARM debug on windows 7.

After using it for a while, I found that my laptop fan started to make noise, and my CPU load for ccs studio is > %90

Even you stop all the debug work, and close all opened files, this situation still remained.

Hi Tony,

do you get any crashes/hangs or any other symptoms? Do you see this with all projects/workspaces? What happens when you close and reopen the project, do things start from normal?

Hi Lisa,

No crash or hang for me.

The only problem is that when I use CCSV5 to do the debug for a while by using

"Stellaris In-Circuit Debug Interface", my CPU fan will start to generate some noise,

and the debug lunch became slow.

And you will find the CCSV5 had eaten most of the CPU load, even you close your debug session and all your opened files, it wont help.

I didnt try to close and reopen the project yet, normally I have to close CCSV5 and relunch.

Hi Tony,

are there any further symptoms or information you could provide. Unfortunately, and I have run this by some colleagues, with what is known this could be from a number of different things. Have you tried a new project/workspace?
