C2000, CGTools 6.2.3 assembler error E5369 - still not fixed!

Hello all,

I am getting the same error reported by another user in this earlier thread:

This is an erroneous error which prevents OK code from building, apparently due to incorrect reporting of the latency of certain operations.

The same project builds with no errors if using C2000 CGTools 6.0.4 or earlier. The erroneous error E5369 appears when building this project using any of the C2000 CGTools releases 6.0.5 through 6.2.3

In the above-referenced post, incident report SDSCM00047353 was filed, and is reported fixed in CGTools 6.1.5. With respect to the project I am building, it seems that the same or a very similar error persists and is still not fixed.

Even though this appears similar to an earlier issue, I think it is best to pretend this one is totally unrelated. Please submit a test case which allows us to see this behavior ourselves. You probably need to preprocess your code like this. Be sure to include the exact compiler options used.
