Importing Project

Hi,

Unfortunately, I have just started working with Code Composer Studio 5 couple of days ago. I am trying to import an exsisting Code Composer Studio Project. My Co- worker made the archive file ( zip) for me for the entire project.

I imported the project into the folder C:\MSP\FOLDER. And expected to see it poen in the CCS but no luck. I tried everything but no luck. Any advise!

Hi Jessica,

how did you try to import the project? You need to go Project->Import existing ccs/eclipse project and point ccs to the archive file. The archive file is under the browse project.

Hi Lisa, I have related question. I am trying to import code I downloaded from 43oh, http://doc.43oh.com/The_Card_Reader_SDCard_BoosterPack but since it does not have a project file, I am not sure how to open up the main.c file and link the associated files into a CCS project file. Can you please provide some guidance? Regards, Paul

Paul, it looks like a valid CCS project that is zipped up. Download the zip file, unzip it in a directory, then go into CCS, Project-> Import Existing CCS Project and point to the unzipped directory. It will recognize it as a project and you should be good from there.
