I maintain a few customized platforms. When I make a drastic change, I like to rename them instead of just modifying them. The last two times I did this, I had poor results using the import button to import the older version in to the RTSC tool. This first time I had just switched to CCSv5.5 and also updated my xdc so I assumed that was probably the issue. This time, I did not change xdc or CCS. I imported my old platform, made the changes and then tried to use it in my project. I received errors regarding memory overlaps, and unresolvable resources. So since I battled this before, I created my new platform without using the import but starting from scratch. Then my project was able to use it just fine.
Is this a bug perhaps? Please let me know if you need any other information to make my issue more clear.
This is the post from the first time this happened. But this second time, there were fewer variables which leads me to believe the import button does not work properly.
