Dependency between C2000 compiler and lib files

Hi all,

I have C2000 project, where I include lib files. There some lib files I created myself and others from TI (like IQmath). I don't understand until yet the deep details of this lib files.

My question is: Must I have care that the lib file and my project builds with the same compiler version? Why or why not? Maybe you could tell me where it's explaind in TI documents?

Hi Matt,

usually the use of a newer version of the compiler for libraries compiled under the previous version does not cause problems, but problems can arise when the reverse situation takes place.
