CCS 5.5 does not allow using XDS200

Hi,

I have CCS 5.5 installed on my desktop PC (Windows 7, 64 bit). It works for CCS 5.5 (bundled with C6678 EVM license) with C6678EVM, eZDSP5535. Now I connect CCS 5.5 to OMAPL138LCDK and XDS200. When download code, it shows license does not support:

It prompts me to generate a trial 90 days license. When I try that, it shows this PC has used that license before.

Thus, what procedures need to use XDS200 with OMAPL138LCDK?

Thanks,

  • Further information on the problem. The connection to XDS200 is passed. The selection is right?

  • Hi Robert,

It looks like you are using the the free bundle/kit license. Only onboard XDS200 emulation are supported. External XDS200 emulators are not supported by this license. You will need a full license or the time based eval license. Since it sounds like you already used the 90-day license before and it expired, you will need to purchase a full license or explicitly request an extension of the time based license to ccs_license_file_help@list.ti.com.

    Thanks
