There is no "release" build in CCS

Hi,

I am using CCS 5.4. Currently I have two projects in my workspace. For one of the projects, I can see the release build option when I hit the project properties. But for the other project there are no other build configurations, other than the one I'm currently using, debug. How can I solve this? thanks.

Are both the projects being developed for same controller ?

Yes.

To be more specific, one project is intended to be loaded to core0 of c6678 and the other to core1. Same device different cores.

You can simply create it on your own. Build configurations are simply a set of build options. Projects can have many different configurations or just one. They can also be called anything. 'debug' and 'release' are the default ones for a new project but they can be changed.
