Hello,

I had develop a Software with the Version: 4.2.4.0004.2.5.00005 after a update from the Network in my compagny (from Windows XP to Windows 7) I had to reinstall CCS 4.2.5.00005.

A the begining I download vers.: 4.2.4.00033 with this page: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Download_CCS

In a second time alway with this page: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Download_CCS I loaded CCS 4.2.5.00005.

During the update this ERROR appears:

Hi Michael,

was this an update you were attempting? Or do you happen to have a copy of 4.2.5? Microcontroller version? I ask because 4.2.5 for some reason was never done as an update.

It's a Little bit difficule for me to understand.

Before my computeur was with Windows XP (now my computer is with Windows 2007), when I'd checked the Version (Code Composer Studio -> Help -> About Code Composer Studio) I saw Version 4.2.5 and I developped my all projects with this version.

Now after the Computer System update (from Windows XP to 2007) I would like to have the same version but I don't know to do this....I didn't do this in the past and nobody could tell me how to do this.

I didn't exactly this:

but It didn't work.

For CCS 4.2.5 is path only, I didn't understand what this means and how could I add this path to the 4.2.4 Version?

I tried also to compil my Project with 4.2.4 but I'd a lot of Problem which I never had...a nightmare :-)

Hi Michael,

glad the installation finally worked for you. That is a warning you can ignore normally. I thought you said you used 4.2.5? So I am surprised the compiler versions would be mismatched.
