Re: [CCS Forum] RE: CCSv4 Linux installation

Ok... I'm not sure what happened to the old "community.itg.ti.com" site or the thread I was participating on, so I'll restart it at this new site I seem to get redirected to.

Darian Sale had replied to my last comment with this detail:

"Additionally, TI ships "loadTI" as an example DSS script (look in
<install>/ccsv4/scripting/examples/loadti/).  By default it connects, loads
a program, runs to the end of the program, prints out stdout, and displays
the total cycle count before returning.  It has options to leave the target
running, or load additional programs and a bunch of other things.  It
sounds like this would be all you need.

It's supported on both windows and linux, but as Stephen mentioned, there
won't be emulation drivers for linux until early next year.

Is this a new CCS v4 feature?  We're currently running CCS v3.3 on all of our machines and haven't moved to v4 yet.  Is it out of Beta now? The last time I had asked about a command line loader, I was told it didn't exist and none was planned, but that was a few years ago.  It's good to hear we have one.

Where can I read more about DSS?
