Activating XDS100 CCS license

There don't appear to be any instructions on the wiki for activating the XDS100 CCS license for CCS5.

I have followed these instructions but, after restarting CCS still reports it is running on "Evaluation license" (27 days remaining). I do appear to have some extra entries (4 total) in the Manage tab of the License Information View dialog. I have not tried to experiment with those for fear it will bring my development to a halt.

Can anyone help me to get the XDS100 license set up properly.

Found CCSv5 activation instructions on the wiki - http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Activating_CCSv5

Hi Kevin,

ccs will not look for any other licenses while on a demo license. Once the demo expires you should be able to switch to the free limited license.

One thing you can try is to delete the demo license and go to Help->Code Composer Studio licensing information. In the upgrade tab you will find "launch license setup".

I already did "Launch License Setup". It had no effect.

This thread (http://e2e.ti.com/support/development_tools/code_composer_studio/f/81/p/305959/1065790.aspx#1065790) led me to believe that the evaluation countdown should stop when the XDS100 license is activated as opposed to the other way around - having to wait for the evaluation to expire as you say.

I'm just trying to avoid any unpleasant surprises in 27 days.

Just a followup to let you know that the temporary license counted down and now CCS shows a "Licensed" status without any interruption or intervention.
