Uninstallation Error in CCS V 5.3.0

Hi,

i was trying to uninstall the CCS v5.3.0. But it says that i do not have sufficient access and i should contact administrator. However, i have already logged in as an administrator on my laptop (Windows 7).

How may i uninstall it?

  • Hi Dhiraj,

    we here ourselves normally manually uninstall by simply deleting the directories.  Unfortunately the uninstall is known not to be smooth.

  • I had the same problem with CCSv5.5.0.  I was able to get the CCS uninstaller to run on Windows 7 by going to Start > All Programs > Texas Instruments > right-click "Uninstall <something>" > Run as Administrator.  Note: <something> is because I don't remember what it was called exactly b/c it disappeared soon after running the uninstaller.

    The progress window would say "Not Responding", but I could see it was still running based on CPU usage.  I patiently waited and sometimes progress would update and it eventually finished running.
