What does headless project means?

Hi,

I'm building my project using CCSv4 and it writes :

%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%
CCS headless build starting... [Mon Jan 11 08:27:57 EST 2010]
%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%

================================================================================
Pre processing...

================================================================================
Building...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

...

================================================================================
CCS headless build complete!

So I would like to know what headless project means and does it imply any limitation.

Thanks.

  • Headless project simply means CCSv4 project actions (build/create/import) outside the CCSv4 GUI from the command line. Otherwise there is no limitation. If you do not see any build output, it usually alludes to some issue with the command. Can you post the build command you are using?

  • Thanks Ki-Soo, it answers my question. I'm seeing the build output result, I just not included the details in my original post.

    Thank you.
