CCS v5 compiler error - WARNING: more than one source file is specified

I could not figure out the following compiling error.  Please help.

    It seems the build output is incomplete, as the error is reported for the file heap_3 but the snippet only shows the heap_4 output.

    I do not get any error when I built my project.  But the compilation failed.  Below is the entire copy from Console window.

    I believe the error is due to the extra spaces you have in the --asm_define option. See this related thread for similar errors.

    So change:
    --asm_define=__TI_EABI_ASSEMBLER = 1
    to:
    --asm_define=__TI_EABI_ASSEMBLER=1

    and let us know if it resolves the errors.

    I think the compile error is caused by the definition of the predefined assembly name __TI_EABI_ASSEMBLER in the project properties.

    In the command line output there is are spaces between the __TI_EABI_ASSEMBLER name the equals and the value one. i.e. under CCS project properties -> Build -> ARM Compiler -> Advanced Options -> Assembler Options the following has been added as a "Pre-define assembly symbol NAME (--asm_define, -ad)

    __TI_EABI_ASSEMBLER<space>=<space>1

    The spaces then cause the compiler to attempt to compile a non-existent source file called "=". Try removing the spaces from the pre-define assembly symbol NAME, i.e.:
    __TI_EABI_ASSEMBLER=1

    if you get the error of [su011] fatal error more than one file specified .

    Make sure that the code your trying to compile is residing on a location on you disk which does not have any spaces in the location.

    that fixed it for me.
