F28xx On-Chip Flash Programmer disappeared on CCS v3.3 installed Windows Vista(32-bit)

I have used CCS v3.3 on Windows XP(SP2).

And now that I was re-install CCS v3.3 on new PC based Windows Vista(32-bit) and update service release, CSP and DSP/BIOS.

So, I can't find "On-Chip Flash Programmer" on CCS Tools menu.

How can i enable(add) this plug-in ?

Try check the Component Manager to see if it is enabled:

C:\CCStudio_v3.3\cc\bin\comp_mgr.exe

Look under 'Texas Instruments Inc.'

Thanks you for your replies.

"F28xx On-Chip Flash Programmer" is already Enabled in component manager.

But, I can not find plug-in's menu item.

Can you try re-registering the plugin?

regsvr32 C:\CCStudio_v3.3\plugins\Flash28xx\Flash28xx.ocx

I tried that.

But, The error message said that fail. (See below image)

I tried that again on administrator account.

So, Success re-registering.

But, Still not appear On-Chip Flash Programmer menu item.

I noticed that on my PC, Component Manager shows something like:

For me I see the menu under 'Tools' just fine. The first option is enabled for me while the second is not (the second is grey-ed out). I can also see that from my ccs_Compdb.ini file that the first one is enabled. In your case it looks like both are enabled, causing some conflict.

Could you send me your ccs_Compdb.ini file (attach to this thread) so I can verify? It is located in: "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Texas Instruments"
