Hi,

I've just installed CCS v4 Core Edition and just tried to start the debugger with some simple code for MSP430F2274 and F2618. But starting the debug sessions takes about 45 seconds which is way too long. I tried the JTAG Debugger USB-FET and also the Spy-By-Wire Debugger but with both it's the same.

 

Any suggestions how to configure CCS so that its starting the debug session in an acceptable time?

    Hi Christoph,

    We have made some performance improvements that will be available in upcoming CCSv4 service releases.

    Also note that the first time launch of a debug session for a target configuration will take the longest. Subsequent launches should be quicker as it will use cached information. Is the 45 second time every time a debug session is launched for the same target configuration?

    Hey Ki,

     

    thanks for your reply and sorry that I didn't answer all the time. I have had some trouble with my workstation in the last weeks and after some clean ups of the registry and so on everything is working fine again. It was a problem of my computer.
