Cannot open license file /usr/local/flexlm/licenses/license.dat

HEllo,

After rehosting my license server, I have a problem when starting the license server. I followed those guidelines: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/License_Server_Administration_for_CCS

I have no file in /usr/local/flexlm neither in my old server thats works fine nor my new server.

    Hi,

    did you use the GUI and restart all the services?  How have you given the server the license file?  Any detail would help.

    Hello Lisa,

    I install it with the shell, i have no interface on this server. I restart the server after install. I copy the file from the mail to the server.

    The server is an ubuntu 64 12.04. I installed lsb-core and lsb-base on it. I didn't find a tidpsswd file for x64 arch so it is a 32b file. Others file (lmgrd and lmutil) are x64 binaries.

    Hi,

    hmmm I don't know that we have/can easily test this setup.  Do you have ccs succsessfully installed and 32 bit support?  I have always used the GUI interface.   What is your working server running?

    CCS is successfuly installed on windows computer. I migrated my IT architecture so i migrate the CCS license server. My old server was 32b and it is working file, my new one is 64b. It is a server and i have no graphical interface.

    When I run lmutil command it answers that the lmgrd is running, but the process tidpssw is not running (it runs on the old server).

    $ bin/lmutil lmstat -a

    Hi,

    Yeah, if possible I would rehost to a windows system or back to the working server.   If you need help rehosting, contact:

     ccs_subscriptions@list.ti.com

    My suspicion is that our vendor daemon is not compatible with your 64 bit linux.
