Hi, I want to install CCS MPS 430  on Eclipse for developing on ez 430 chronos. But I got this error message. 

I installed C++ 2008 Redistribute Package x86, but I am still getting  this error message. Please help me

    Hi,

    I'm sorry for the problems you're having.

    Could you do the following:

    Upload the log file C:/Users/bkarahan/Desktop/Deneme4/c/ccsv5/install_logs/MSVC2008.log

    Check if you have the file C:/Users/bkarahan/AppData/Local/Temp/ijtmp_23F48640-ED14-4BBD-BCC4-3857BB1E47A1/baserepo/vcredist_x86.exe. 

    Go to add/remove programs and remove the msvc 2008 redistributable installed.

    Double click on C:/Users/bkarahan/AppData/Local/Temp/ijtmp_23F48640-ED14-4BBD-BCC4-3857BB1E47A1/baserepo/vcredist_x86.exe and run it.

    What errors do you see? If it installs cleanly, you should be able to install CCS. If the vcredist_x86.exe binary isn't available, I can send it to you.

    Thanks, I tried to run exe file and I didn't see any errors. In the installing process, I didn't see ever similar  problem. But I get different error. I think that I should find  again suitable path as you said above and I  should manually install msp430ware from temp file. Can you direct me about solution method?

    Hi,

    You're hitting another issue now. The install path you've chosen (C:/Users/bkarahan/Desktop/Deneme5/g) is too long for the msp430ware to install correctly. Could you try installing in c:\ti or something short. You have about 35 characters.
