nRESET pin of cTI20 pin

Hi,

I have one question regarding nRESET pin of 20pin JTAG.

Are there any JTAG emulators supported this nRESET signal?

I tested XDS100, XDS200 and XDS560 emulator with CCS5.5. When I pushed the button of the system reset, any JTAG emulators never asserted the reset duration on nRESET pin. nRESET keeps high level.

What JTAG emulator does support nRESET(system reset)?

Please advise me.

    Michi,

    System Reset is different than what is triggered by asserting nRESET and varies by device (you can check the device TRM's section on Resets and power). CCS follows the TRM specifications for some of the supported resets that can be asserted from the emulator.

    In general, this pin only performs a reset on the emulation logic and therefore its use is very infrequent - unfortunately I don't have a list of emulators that support it. I will reply back to you if I get this information.
