CCS v5.5 Install Error

Hello, I am using Windows 7 Home Premium, 64 bit. I previously had CCS v5.2 installed and decided to install v5.5. The v5.2 uninstall program did not work fully so I went through and deleted the directories as specified here: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Troubleshooting_CCSv5#Installation

Unfortunately, I am not able to install v5.5. I downloaded the 1.3 GB zipped folder, extracted the files, and get an error associated with not being able to install Eclipse.

I've attached the install log file from the InstallJammer Registry. Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi Patrick,

It looks like your antivirus is preventing eclipse from unpacking it's jar files. Can you delete the c:\ti\ccsv5 folder and try again after turning off your anti virus software?

Hi Danish,

I appreciate your prompt reply. I had previously turned off the McAfee firewall. After receiving your message, I also turned off the real-time file scanning feature, and the CCS software installed with no further issues.

Glad it's working. Sometimes the antivirus/real time scanning turns itself back on after a while, depending on the settings.
